So as we promised last time, here are the student home designs for the Pettaway Pocket Neighborhood:

The students developed 6 different house types, ranging from the two-story Two-Faced and Extended Porch types, to the three-story Tower houses.

Holy Smokes! That was a great opening! Thank you thank you thank you to who everyone who could make it out. We had a great crowd including Mayor Stodala, Dean Jeff Shannon of the Fay Jones School of Architecture, Warwick Sabin of Oxford American, Dean Kumpuris of the Little Rock Board of Directors, UALR professor and artist A.J. Smith ,acclaimed architect Marlon Blackwell, and many many more.

Steve Luoni and Jeff Huber of the University of Arkansas Community Design Center were on-hand to present their latest project, the Pettaway Pocket Neighborhood. This project is a perfect example of a Low Impact Development.
