Just wanted to share the awesome front door that John Bruhl of UALR, designed and built for us. Sadly when it was torched, it twisted, and now it looks like we won’t be able to install it. It really is beautiful, hopefully someone will have a bright about how to install it.. otherwise it sure is nice to look at!

We all owe a huge hand to David and Allison for their hard work this weekend! They clad the two coffee tables, and one of the conference tables with some of the weathered wood. They have also covered the floor of the back lounge area in a mix of bamboo, weathered, and charred wood. They also started building a basic loft over the space and attached a birdsnest ceiling of charred wood, with a couple homemade mason jar lights. Our group has been wanting to build something like this for awhile, looks like it is a success.. now it is time to upscale it when we have the time!

The bar is starting to take shape, now we just need to finish the counter.

While we had one team down at UALR Applied Design finishing up working on the charred wood, we also had a team at studioMAIN starting work on the metal stud tracks for the pin-up boards. 10 days to the soft opening!
